 Days Later We Had Snow

The last leg of the journey checking the damage from Sandy in the Southern Rhode Island area took us to the infamous restaurant, the Coast Guard House. They always seem to get hit from ocean storms. This time it was totally damaged from the storm.

A couple of days later we had our first snow. Snow before Thanksgiving but at least it was not before Halloween like last year.

Did you receive snow yet in your area?

Since blogging about the Coast Guard House they have provided updates on Twitter to me:

  1. No snow yet where I live, but at our land Happy Trails in western Md it has snowed a few times already. Sandy dumped more than 2 feet there.

  2. Hi Happyone, wow, I didn't realize more than 2 feet there. Some still think we will have a bad winter here. I'm not so sure yet. Thanks for commenting.

  3. We haven't had any snow yet, but the weather has been windy and cold for several days. I'm glad the Coast Guard House is going to be rebuilt, but I hope it will be able to stay out of the way of future storms.

    1. Thanks George, I was so glad when they tweeted me about their plans to rebuild. It's a wonderful place to have a bite or drink in the summertime.
